MBFW

Just came home from the show of Beckmans College of Design. My absolute favorite designer was Lamilja Suljevic with her collection Grbavica, inspired by the Bosnian national costumes.

MBFW

So I missed Altewai.Saome because of school, V Ave Shoe Repair was awesome. I really enjoyed the show. Although I have to say that my favorite event was Filippa K at the museum of modern art here in Stockholm.
Maybe because it felt more exclusive than the others.

Beige Cardigan

Adjusting to real life.

I was suppose to study all day, but since I came late, there we no available seats left at the student palace, I went shopping with mother and my sister in law. Found this lovely beige cardigan from Velour at Awesome Rags. Afterwards I met up with Anna Klara for some coffee at Mellquist, Sanna joined us and we had some Japanese food while talking about Anna Klaras trip to Sri Lanka.

24 hour party people

Pics from Olas birthday party in Bredäng, finally 23.

Tomorrow we are 23 people dining together, Ludvig and Jens will of course handle the dinner.
Although I will be helping with the main course for vegetarians.
I found a long vintage silver skirt at Beyond Retro that I will wear with a white cowboy blouse from Zara.
New Years is one of my absolutely favorite celebrations, love the atmosphere.

San Sebastian

The apartment in San Sebastian is now booked for the summer.

I know there is not that much of winter and snow in Stockholm right now, but I still long for the warmth. This a photo from last summer when I stayed at my friend Anna Klaras country house, on the wonderful island Gotland.

Hunt

This year I actually made a few of my Christmas gifts myself, small insect drawings.
After having dinner and celebrating at my parents house we invited a bunch of friends to our apartment, for some good company and wine :)

Today I'm going on a hunt for the perfect new years dress.

Queer

Todays visit: The museum of Army. First we had a lecture with Patrik Steorn about his work with the National museum and the exhibition he made from a queer perspective. Then we had a tour of the museum and their work with gender and queer perspective. One of the most interesting tours I've been on so far.

It was a fabulous ending for this semester.

Marica

Just before going to Kåken.
Had a terrific dinner with Marica, carrot and sweet potato soup.
We where trying to do some planning for new years, but ended up dancing instead.

Morfar Ginko

Exhibition day was lovely.
Afterwards most of us went to Morfar Ginko for drinks. I sad goodbye to my friend Anna Klara who is traveling to Sri Lanka over the holidays, lucky her.

Tomorrow I'm going to pick out clothes for a photo shoot with talented photographer Jessica Silversaga.

One Lucia

Went to the exhibition One Lucia on Nybrogatan last night, thirteen pieces. Emma and I had a discussion about gender and identity, about the roles that society gives us, the female as passive and the male as active and how it was shown in the artwork.
Afterwards we had a glass of wine at Riche and from there we took a walk to Södermalm.

Le croissant

Had a croissant and a cappuccino for breakfast with my sister and a friend of hers at Caffé Nero, I think I should try to make that croissant and cappuccino a regular habit.
Later on after school we had a meeting and I also had time to take this photo of my niece Anaïs :)

At the studio

Things are starting to add up.

We have a definitive release date for Odalisque, 1st of February!
Now, I'm going to study a while before going to dinner with my friend Emma.

Kåken

There was a great photo exhibition at the modern museum, of course I also enjoyed the Turner Monet and Twobly exhibition. I had the chance to visit the museum of dance, witch is quite small but have a very unique collection. Later on my friends Martina, Thomas and Caroline came over for some fennel soup and wine. Maja joined in later and we all went to Kåken for drinks. Today I'm staying at home to work on my illustrations.

Found this old pic from when I visited the DDR museum in Berlin. Strange feeling.

Today I've been to Statsmuseet. Friday I will be spending at Moderna, the modern museum of art.

Tomorrow

Tomorrow I will free from all duty's, at least for a short while. My class and I are going to Sjätte tunnan for beers to celebrate.

Little children

Worked on a photo shoot for Momema's, soft and colorful unisex clothing for kids, photographer was Anneli Nygårds. Theme of the shoot : masquerade.
The kids were really patient and at the same time they seemed to enjoy themselves.

Good morning

I have been at home studying and now I'm meeting up with Mimmi, Martina and Anna Klara for some coffee.
I will bring my camera to take some photos of my beautiful friends.
